The modern workplace is … optimised for interuption … interuption is the enemy of work, the enemy of productivity, the enemy of creativity, the enemy of everything
Managers are the biggest problem because their whole world is built around interuption. That’s what they do — management means interupting. “Let me call a meeting, because that’s what I do all day — call meetings”
If companies were more focus on getting rid of interuptions they’d get a whole lot more work done

With the recent release to the unsuspecting public of this arse-clenchingly embarrassing video of a Microsoft Store in Mission Viejo, California breaking out spontaneously into song on youTube in an effort to let their hair down and have some fun
I have been wondering if this is part of a deliberate marketing strategy from Microsoft embracing their uncool image. With a history of cool fails from beginning with the Microsoft Corperation group shot in 1978, through A sweat soaked Ballmer repeatedly chanting the word “developers” at a conference right up to the recent “Host a Microsoft Windows 7 dinner party”.
I’m really wanting this to be clever marketing … it has to be, I mean — just look at them!

Interesting, although I suspect there’s a better application for panoramic video than filming drugged up ravers.
